CO2balance began in 2003 with Bishops Wood, a woodland project near Morchard Bishop in Devon.
The portfolio has since expanded across multiple countries and project types, with more than 15 million carbon credits issued.
CO2balance is a founding member of the International Carbon Reduction and Offset Alliance (ICROA).
In 2017 we became the first organisation to pilot SDG 5 Gender Responsive, receiving certification from Gold Standard in 2019.
