CO2balance rehabilitates boreholes and supports the formation of Water Resource Committees (WRC) for community-led maintenance and protection.
The boreholes provide safe water to tens of thousands, reducing waterborne diseases and eliminating the need to boil water, cutting firewood use and CO2 emissions. They also ease the burden of collecting firewood and water, especially for women and children.
