Projects

As a project developer, co2balance is a world leader in creating Gold Standard and CDM projects in Africa and Asia that go beyond carbon saving. All of our in-house projects are designed to directly help local communities socially and financially to improve their standard of living. The projects are put through the Gold Standard or CDM acreditation to ensure independent third party validation and verification.

Through running the majority of projects ourselves we have complete control over the life-cycle of the projects; that way we can be certain that the benefits promised will actually be delivered. In addition to these Gold Standard Projects we can, and have, sourced carbon offset credits from projects throughout the world (VERs and CERs).

For more information on our projects or if you are interested in offsetting, please contact us where we will be happy to discuss this further with you.

Carbon Projects

Carbon Projects

Our Carbon Projects work with communities in developing countries to deploy a range of efficient technologies aimed at improving their quality of life, improving health and economic outcomes and reducing global emissions. Improved efficiency cook stoves reduce the need for firewood and the volume of harmful smoke the families are exposed to. Our community borehole projects provide clean, safe drinking water for hundreds of families as well as reducing carbon emissions as water no longer has to be boiled to make it safe to drink.  If you want to know more please read the project details below or give us a call, we would be happy to explain how your support can save lives and be good for your business.
